Fundraising Standards Board Logo

The FRSB logo should only be used in materials produced by Central Office and not in local office materials.

The FRSB logo is a mark of reassurance for a wide range of audiences, particularly for donors and other Society supporters.

 

Its use demonstrates that the Society has agreed to adhere to a strict set of codes and a fundraising promise which commits us to treat the public with respect, fairness, honesty and clarity in all our money raising activities.

 

The promise commits us to high standards. We have agreed that:

  • we will be honest and open
  • we are clear
  • we are respectful
  • we are fair and reasonable
  • we will be accountable
  • these standards are in line with our values of quality, integrity and mutual respect.

Over the next few years, the FRSB logo will become well known and the public will become aware that any major charity that does not display this logo widely may not adhere to the high standards required by the Board.

 

Therefore it is necessary for the Society to agree a protocol for use of the FRSB logo and apply this protocol consistently.

 

Its use should be wider than being mandatory for fundraising materials and must be used on a wide range of other materials produced by the Society.

 

Use of the FRSB logo should be limited to materials etc produced by Central Office and until further notice, it should not be used by branches for their own materials.

The FRSB logo must be used on:

All fundraising marketing communication materials including posters, leaflets, ads, packaging of films and promotional videos, web pages and fundraising micro sites including legacy marketing materials

  • All recruitment advertising and recruitment materials
  • Christmas cards
  • Raffle materials/tickets
  • All general marketing communication materials including booklets and posters
  • Annual Review
  • Report and Financial Statements
  • Direct Marketing materials (must appear at least once in every direct marketing pack)
  • Fundraising materials produced by Angal
  • Letterhead
  • Living with Dementia magazine insert
  • Display materials ie pop ups and wraparounds (new materials)
  • Web site home page and throughout the site and micro sites
  • Ads in directories where appropriate
  • QRD newsletter and research materials

The FRSB logo should not be used on:

  • Information sheets and other information for social purpose
  • Publications and training materials for professionals
  • T-shirts/running vests and other clothing

FRSB logo size usage

When the FRSB logo appears next to Alzheimer's Society logo the top of the tick needs to align with the top of the capital A in Alzheimer's and the FRSB logo baseline aligns with the base of the capital S in Society. The ad below illustrates this general guide.
